4 stars I've had this album (record, in mint condition) since 1979, when it came out. I have always been a big fan of the off-the-wall bands and their influences in what would some would call "classic rock". When this album came out, stuff like this was not being played on the radio. It wouldnt have then, because you simply cant dance to it . City Boy and a few other really good bands like them blazed the trail for the commercial ya-ya that would follow in later years. Do not compare this band to any other group. They had all the ingredients for what a good band should be, good lyrics, great vocals, good arrangements, and good tunes overall. They hold two very important things that few bands have. They were versatile and they actually played their own instruments.
