3 stars Released in 1976, this single combines "Epitaph" and "21st Century Schizoid Man", both tracks off of the first King Crimson album, IN THE COURT OF THE CRIMSON KING. No idea, what the reasoning behind this release was. Maybe they figured that a mainstream audience would be able to like "epitaph" as it is much milder than "Schizoid Man" by far. Both, of course are classic songs from a classic prog band and it is hard to complain about the music contained here. However, these belong on the total original album and are best enjoyed that way. So just 3 stars given here.
