3 stars From 1975, FISH OUT OF WATER by Chris Squire bassist of Yes. Is this a "lost" Yes album? Sorta. It does has a lot of the same vibe and musical tendencies, as well as Squire's voice being high in tone like Jon Anderson's. The opening duet, "Hold Out Your Hand", and "You By My Side" are the strongest tracks in my opinion, but the others are not bad, just less interesting. Unfortunately "Safe" at 14 minutes is just too long and does not hold my interest for it's long running time. Still, along with OLIAS OF SUNHILLOW, this may be one of the best solo Yes albums. I do not get into Wakeman so won't put him on the list.
