2 stars Guitarplayer Terutsugu Hirayama was a member of famous Japanese 'heavy progressive rock' band Novela, along with keyboard virtuoso Toshio Egawa who left Novela and founded Gerard. Terutsugu also left Novela and formed his own band. This is his fifth solo effort, not his best. Most of the seven compositions deliver great, often sensational work on guitar and keyboards and the musicians are capable. But their is no spark, this CD lacks musical ideas although it's not a bad album. If you want to discover Teru's Symphonia their music, you can better start with his earlier work. Rating 2,5 stars but I have to click on 2 or 3 so this time I choose 2....
