5 stars One of my favorite TD albums! This album is from what I consider to be the best period of TD from 1979-1983. With the addition of J. Schmoelling their music is more rhythmic and this one has a stronger beat as there is more emphasis on the precussion. I find this is a much more enjoyable album than some of their earlier albums which can seem a bit monotonus (like Zeit) or more experimental (like Electronic Meditation or Alpha Centari) This period of TD has some similarities to the "Krautrock" albums of Ash Ra Tempel, as it is more "New Age" style than some other TD albums. (early Tangerine Dream member Klaus Schultze also joined Ash Ra Tempel for a couple of albums)

"Hyperborea" & Cinnamon Road are the two best tracks from this album, but the other two are great as well. The albums I think are closest in style would be White Eagle & Green Desert. As one of the earlier reviewers mentioned this is a "5 star" electronic album, but only "3 stars" if you don't like this kind of "New Age" music, so if you are looking for harder prog this might not be for you.
