Birds of Fire was my first Mahavishnu Orchestra album, and after hearing to all the others, wich are all fantastic albuns, it remans as their best work for me.

This music is hypnotic and misterious, all done in a very clever way, that makes me very excited every time I listen to it. If you haven't heard Mahavishnu yet, try this one, if you don't like it... Well, bad for you.

A 5 star for sure, an essential masterpiece that should be heard for everyone with a taste for jazz and experimentalisms, all performed with amazing virtuosism.
