5 stars I don't see why the low ratings for this album. Of course, it's not prog at all but it is very good pop/rock music. The band's style has evolved from straightforward synthpop to more evolved pop/rock, probably with the addition of producer/keyboardist Tim Freese- Greene and a bunch of good guest musicians.

The singles "Such A Shame" and "It's My Life" really show the progression from the debut "The Party's Over" - the happy synths have been pushed in the background, the melody is slighly sad with the classic rock instruments more in front and the voice of Mark Hollis is much more powerful. Two gems on this album: the ballad "Renée" and the beautiful dark rock song "Tomorrow Started". The music even gets harder with "Call In The Night Boy" and "It's You". The only real weak track on this album is the sloppy "Does Caroline Know ?".

Rating: 90/100 (great)
