4 stars Although I already had Bellaphon cd edition (with crappy sound), i bought myself LP yesterday,so I can really enjoy this glorious album again.I don't consider this to be the best Nektar album("A tab in the ocean" takes the prize ),but it is probably next to best. What makes this album different from the rest of the Nektar flock is addition of Larry"the Synergy" Fast,a true keyboard wizzard, whose synths made band sound completely unique comparing it to previous works.Music is tight and complex, especially on side one, side two sound little bit more like conventional Nektar with ,up until that point, best vocal performance by Roye Albrighton.Unfortunately, after this album,Nektar carrer goes absolutely downhill, and I never understood why!?Anyhow, for people who never heard Nektar before, this is excellent starting point, probably most accessible early Nektar album.
