4 stars My introduction to Bo Hansson music occured in late 1972 thanks to my friend who brought an Hansson record from England; I remember that listeninig to it made us both very enthusiastic about that album. As the time passed, the name of the album has faded out of my memory, what left was captivating organ echo.Recently I've bought 'Magicians Hat' being assured that this is the one from my youth.Few weeks later, by chance , I acquired also 'Lord Of The Rings' record and on the first beats of 'Lothlorien' I recognized that actually this was the album I was so enthusiastic about 34 years ago. This whole side two of the record is impeccable, while on the side one ''The Black Riders/Flight To The Ford' is my favourite. The talent of this man reaches far beyond writing music only; he is also very skilled musician playing on this album not only organ, but also guitar, Moog synthesizer and bass; he also made all arrangements and even coproduced this album.Listening to this album nowadays is for me sheer pleasure, for it's not only because of this lovely music, it goes also for a feeling as when you meet someone dear after so many years.
