5 stars "Perfect Symmetry" is a magical album, but, simultaneously, to be taken now with a different spirit from the 1989/ 1990. In fact, if you already have a culture on Dream Theatre to embarrass the same Theatre and Rush are trapped in your head (as Warlock) you have strange feelings that I want to share knowledge.

First of all: "Perfect Simmetry" sounds like the missing link between Rush, Warlock and Dream Theater.

Second: "Perfect Simmetry" is more melodic of a Dream Theater album but more Heavy and Progressive compared to Rush and more Prog to Warlock.

Three: The production is quite similar to Rush, but the sound is Dream Theatre (with lighter guitars) or Warlock.

Fourth: The drums sound is typically Rush (acoustic and electronic drums use) but the singing is Dream Theatre or Warlock.

Fifth: ...Mark Zonder came from Warlock. And to me, "Perfect Symmetry" sounds like a Classic Prog version of Warlock! ("The Arena" is a pure Warlock song!)

In conclusion: "Perfect Simmetry sound in my head as a typical mix between Rush and Dream Theatre, today. In great substance, for my humble opinion, "Perfect Simmetry" sound as an album of Warlock, without reservation.

But in 1989/ 1990 vision "Perfect Simmtry" how it sounded? Certainly sounds like an album of Progressive Metal lent to Classic Prog (or vice versa?). Crystalline production and artificial sound (because too clean) and a lot of technique with little real explosive energy. Yet capable of carrying away our minds and make us fall in love with it.

"Perfect Symmetry" is an album that I love unconditionally. And every time I listen... Preserve surprises to my mind and my heart!
