5 stars I am a great fan of the DPs, but for me they are a heavy rock band and not progressive. Surely they are four great musicians and the best singer that has ever heard, in their concerts they are pursued today still solos and variations, (I have seen live them in 2001 and I remained pleasantly impressed) but for me remain the parents of the heavy metal. IN ROCK is together with MACHINE HEAD their CHILD IN TIME. It makes to come still today the shivers: softly begin for then having the famous 12 acute of Ian Gillan before a grandiose instrumental part, taken back of the beginning and galloped conclusive!!!!!! stupendous (impressive is the version video in Copenhagen 1972). SPEED KING is pure heavy rock, but the whole album maintains him on tall levels. Already said of GIllan, known by all Blackmore, it needs to say that Ian Paice is a big drummer, very underestimated by the criticism, Lord is the best keyboards player in hiskind and pure Glover gives his great contribution .
