This album has very good, intelligent lyrics by Roger Waters. Even if they show sad things about planet earth and humanity, power, greed, in the end they show some hope, despite the never ending struggle for power and survival. This album is more interesting for me because of the concept behind the lyrics. Water`s lyrics and music (with only one contribution by Gilmour) are complemented very good by all members of the band.This album is better than the overrated "The Wall". Pink Floyd started to fragment with this album, but it is still a good album.
