5 stars Absolutely, I agree with the last review posted. It has practically said everything I was about to say.

Five stars.

I think PT's recent release is absolutely superb, and is nothing less than I expected. I think the visuals are good and I happen to quite like the scratchy, ghostly overlays and think that it enhances the mood of the performance and is not overpowering at all. Anyone who is at all familiar with PT's Deadwing release and Steven Wilson's recent side project Blackfield's sleeve artwork will understand what the band were trying to achieve artistically by using them as such (with the 'scratchiness' being used over the live projections and video singles!). It is clear that this was an important release, and not just an obscure, bland TV broadcast that had been dug up in between recording albums. Having said that, the Rockpalast footage is great. Nice to see as well as hear. I just wished I hadn't overheard the download album so much before it!!

I like the busy camera work on the DVD, and if you are a player like me, and like to analyse what each guy is doing during any particular song then this captures it all and, as mentioned before, does not miss any important moments keeping the watcher informed throughout each number.

Standout songs for me are; Hatesong (particularly Gavin Harrison's percussive breaks) Start of Something Beautiful, Blackest Eyes and Trains (love the acoustic guitar string break just before the clap, clap last bit when Steve asks the crowd "Where was I standing"? during the switch at the end.

Man...this rocks.... what more can I say. I think anyone who sees it will be blown away.
