4 stars This album is the best solo effort by Gilmour by far. The Floydian influence is undeniable in the instrumental tracks "Castellorizon", "Red Sky At Night" and "Then I Close My Eyes", but also in the amazing title track (the best one on the album) which could have been meant to an album like "The Division Bell", also "Take a Breath" could be taken directly from that release, but in this case the result is not so good. The album is full of touching moments full of intense atmosphere like "A Pocketful Of Stones", maybe dedicated to Syd Barrett? and "Where We Start": a stunning absolutely beautiful piece of music.

A great album for sure!
