This is prog metal at its best! The music has beautiful melodies and original touches of Brazilian ethnic and symphonic music with colorful instrumentation and percussion. I think it's creative and complex enough to be called progressive. The singer is singing very high but his voice fits the music quite well. The most progressive song is the epic Carolina IV. I don't listen to heavy music very often but Holy Land is a perfect album and will remain one of my favourites!
