4 stars The album Argus by Wishbone Ash is my favorite one so I was glad to notice this documentary DVD in a record-shop. We can enjoy lots of fine stories about the cover, the beginning of the band, the positive reactions on their music by press and fans and "everything you always wanted to know about Argus but were afraid to ask for", haha! These stories are told by band members Ted and Martin Turner, Bob Harris (producer of the known BBC tv programm The Old Grey Whistle Test) and Chris Welch (Melody Maker journalist and author of books about Yes and Pink Floyd). Some quotes: "from the beginning there was a click between Ted and Andy", "With Pilgrimage Wishbone Ash prooved not to be a one trick band", "The King Will Come was speeded up and up on stage" and "Blowin' Free is about a Swedish girl". The stories are embellished with great excerpts from footage like Blowing' Free, Vas Dis and Jail Bait, taken from The Old Grey Whistle Test 1971, the ABC Australian tv 1972 and Don Kirshner's Rock Concert 1973. The bonus features contains six complete tracks from that Seventies footage, really exciting to watch so I would like to recommended this DVD to every Wishbone Ash fan!
