1 stars Greetings, this is my 1st review but I just had to inform fans of this album. The concerts themselves may have been better than the Bedrock TV show, but the DVD production quality is nowhere near and we'll never know unless we were there. My favorite band for 38 years, I've traveled 550 miles each way to see Hawkwind in concert and own 30+ CDs & 7 DVDs, this is my 1st disappointment. As someone's home movie clip it may have had sentimental value, but as an in the store DVD it's simply unwatchable. This is an DVD for collectors only. I'm amazed that Dave OK'd this for release. The video quality is so poor and grainy that it's hard to tell who you are looking at at times. The audio quality is similar. The whole thing was recorded on a camcorder circa 1989 and it isn't as good as a phonecam on Youtube today. Add to that, the 'songs' are just pieces mostly and some of the "concert" recordings are from rehearsals between Dave, Alan and Richard. Another problem with the production is that the tracks are mislabeled. 4 tracks listed on disc 2 are really on disc 1, plus the songs don't always align with the DVD tracking either. They'll start and end in the middle of different tracks. I know I was supposed to review the music on the album, but the quality of the recording makes that impossible. Sorry, especially since my other Hawkwind reviews will be very favorable, there just wasn't a review for this DVD and I thought it was necessary to warn other fans.

1 stars BEWARE! Whether it's Hawkwind doing it to themselves ? or unsprupulous others ?I really don't know.

What I do know is that there is a huge pile of Hawkind DVD's and CD's of trully appalling quality ? I couldn't telly you what the performances are like if I wanted too. They might br great ? We'll never know as these products are marred by truly awful bootleg sounds that are much worse than the freely available live sets that can be downloaded LEGALLY, FOR FREE, from numerous websites. If you must have more Hawkwind check the websites ? Do NOT buy these terrible recordings ? you have been warned
