THE ANSWER

From 1998's OCEAN 2: THE ANSWER. "The Answer"- Tough to rate a 4 minute edit of a much longer song. In fact, all 3 songs on this release are shorter versions than found on the original album. I have yet to hear what is called an "edit" of any song that I thought was better than the original. There is about 12 minutes of Eloy here out of an original 24 minutes on the full release. Second here is another radio edit of a much longer song, "Awakening of Consciousness". Last up is Ro Setau, a great song clipped down to 4 minutes. If you are familiar with the album, you know these tunes. If not, get the album. Little is offered here except a chance for radio stations to play a neglected band's music and possibly attract some new fans. Not sure if it worked back in 1998. The original album was probably one of the best later works by Eloy and should be looked into, even if I find little similarity between it and it's big brother-OCEAN. 2 stars. Only whets the appetite.
