4 stars A personal treasure in my collection...

this is, of course, because I'm not a owner of "Unplugged at the Walls" and I can't imagine any better version of "Beautiful" as the one I got here. This alone is a five-star for me. "Made again", the one track that never seemed to be as essential to me as the rest of "Brave" is, is also very well done. But even if you have the "Walls" disc, you may be positively surprised with the extended version of "Man of a thousand Faces". It's got a nice piano-intro with Hogie chanting the words of the verses before it "begins" ( and ends ) just the way you know it from "This strange Engine". To be honest, it doesn't really add much to the song itself, but it ain't so bad either. What's possibly more important with this version: It's got a slightly different mix. And that mix is better than on album, it sounds more lively and powerful to my ears. I wouldn't give away this Maxi !

You can easily forget about the "Single-edit" of the title-track, though. Amputations of parts as important as the Kate Bush-like, preciously mad ending are not welcome or needed. You can file them under "crime" !
