4 stars In 2002 BMS celebrated their 30th anniversary. They did it the best way: a great summer open air concert with all the past and present member of the band. On stage went also Gianni Nocenzi, Vittorio's brother, great keyboard player who left in the late '70... That show is captured live here and is excellent both for the sound quality and the great musicianship. Usually celebrative (and live) records suck, but I would make a notable exception for this. Not so many groups can put on a cd 13 tracks like these. Worth the money...

4 stars After a brief speech where Vittorio put fire on the audience, Banco starts one of its best show ever. Recorded live at the roman hipodrome, 'No Palco' is one of the best show from a classic seventies band in the new millenium.

There are very good versions during this show, particulary I like a lot 'Non mi Rompete', which has a longer interpretation in this album, and also the best of the best, 'Canto di Primavera' in its most beautiful record. You also can count on the guesses, great artists working together with the band, like the former PFM's Mauro Pagani, Gianni Nocensi, the brother that come back to home, and more. The performance of Pagani is not like older times, but he's an excellent violin player and you can see his talent in the magnificent 'Canto di Primavera'.

The album is a great celebration of Banco 30's anniversary, and we must enjoy the party because Banco del Mutuo Soccorso is, for sure, TOP TEN in one list of the best progressive rock band around the world

4 stars The RPI (and related) live reviews series vol.17

30 years passed from the first concert. When my mother celebrated its 30 years bday understood that it the moment had arrived to do a budget of its life. I think that 30 years is a great goal for a person. To appear itself for a band. "No Palco" is a testament for this goal. In true is a testament only in Prog field. But this isn't a problem. Maybe is a moment of reflection. But I Think that a thestament like this that the fans eanted. Too hosts in this concert. But all from extreme high quality. And the songs? Are good. Are a document of 70's Italiam music in the world. It ask other 30 years of success is ask too much? In every case... Thanks Banco!

3 stars This is a quality and passionate but somewhat quieter live concert by Banco. The focus is on "hits" but also more modern pieces. The voice is still incredible, instruments sound very natural and even can bring some jazzy/fusion elements. The sound and choice of numbers is not always 70's compatible. The audio quality is excellent, all can be heard clear in the mix. Anyways, I still like other live concerts by BdMS better, for example Nudo has something special about its sound and choice of songs and also "Seguendo le tracce" offers pure 70's feeling, albeit with a worse sound. By all means, this is a good and competent live recording.
