3 stars The first side is very modern keyboards oriented, almost being a slow techno music without beat, and it sounds a bit like Tangerine Dream (Tangram & Encore) and Jean Michel Jarre, but in a more bizarre and experimental manner. On the other side, the first track contains piano through Asiatic influences. Again, it is rather experimental. Moraz likes to produce from the beginning to the end futuristic sci-fi sounds. The best track is "Black silk", an OUTSTANDING piano solo very well played.: as reveals this track, Patrick Moraz is an outstanding piano composer and player.

3 stars Former Yes keyboardist Patrick Moraz has an interesting solo career. This album made at the late 70's it's a very experimental piece full of space athmospheres mixed with almost ethnic percussions. At this time, the album sounds like a piece of museum but if you put it on the year when was made, I think that Moraz's work was very avant garde and almost visionary. "Metamorphoses" is a long piece with a dark electronic athmosphere but I really like "Black Silk" another long piece with Moraz on piano, a nostalgic and sad song played with great talent and passion.

Not a great album but you have to listen it to understand a little bit more the past and present of electronic music played by one of the most interesting musicians of the 70's.

3 stars The music on this album is improvised, so I would recommend it to those who have an appeal for that kind of stuff. When I listened this record first time I wasn't yet familiar with modern jazz of the seventies, which probably have been one of Patrick's inspiration for this project. In my opinion (too) the best track on this record is "The Black Silk", which is played only on a piano. I think it resembles much the improvised solo piano concerts of KEITH JARRETT from early 70's, which have been recorded and released by ECM records. I would recommend those records for those who liked "The Black Silk" track!
