The first three songs on the CD (which are the last three on the vinyl version) were recorded at the Pacific Jazz Festival, 10/10/66, and the remaining tracks were recorded at a Shelly's Manne Hole date, 3/27/67.The CD reissue adds 5 unissued tracks to the original album, all of them taken from the date at the Manne Hole
