2 stars This is not a bad little collection of songs from Bill Frisell's Have A Little Faith album, but the emphasis should be on the word "little". This in store play promotional release is only five songs, and clocks in at just over sixteen minutes. The album features songs composed by American songwriters, like Aaron Copland, Bob Dylan, John Hyatt and John Philip Sousa, among others. It's too bad this collection doesn't contain the Sousa piece. Iwould love to hear what Frisell does with it.

The songs here are beautiful, highlighted by Frisell's quirky but fun guitar. The best song is Copland's Street Scene In A Frontier Town, Americana like only Copland could write.

This is nice, but go find the full album, that's why it gets only two stars.
