2 stars PLESIOSAURIO are a four piece band from Argentina who are still active releasing their latest studio album in 2022. This is their very first release from 2014, a live recording that they did at a bar in Buenos Aires in 2014. I was complaining about the production on their very first self released studio album, well it's a lot worse here not surprisingly I suppose when it was recorded in a bar. It all sounds so muddy and distant and of course you can here people talking at times and there's always one guy screaming in the audience right?

Three tracks worth around 45 minutes of music including the almost 26 minute middle track. A lot of meandering on this recording, lots of organ and guitar for the most part with vocals that come and go and usually they are brief. The drums don't exactly sound right but again it's that recording process. So this is of little value to me other than I'm hearing this band perform their music in front of a crowd.

Kind of cool that they took the title "Arsat-2 1/2" from the name of a satellite built by an Argentinian company. Nice art work too but the recording doesn't measure up unfortunately.
