Synergy Protocol biography
The band was founded by bass player Wim SMITS who has a lot of experience with the metal band JEWEL and ZARATHUSTRA. Then he met guitarist and vocalist Martin HEERINGA in 2006 to create a Progressive Metal kind of music by writing and arranging songs while looking for musicians. Then came Patrick VAN MOURIK (drums) and Mark ROELOFS (guitar). After that, Laura GULDEMOND joined the band as a vocalist. But she left replaced by Laura MARTINEZ. Then the band hit the road in Europe and was a support band for STREAM OF PASSION. In 2016, they released their first album "Odd to get Even". Their music delivers some complex and melodic Progressive metal with some influences from the 80's metal scene. In January 2017, 3 members left the band, but Wim will continue to keep the spirit of the band alive.
