4 stars Green Desert Tree - this young and talented band from Berlin - Germany released thier debut this year 2019 named Progressive worlds. Well, this is a fantastic album from start to finish, imagine a combination of Saga, Yes, jazz fusion elements added here and there, neo prog all mixed in one true excellent album. This is a truly great band with a quite unique sound overall, the sound is top, the musicianship aswell, at the end of the album , you want more. As I said the musicians know to handle the instruments, the burst when needed, they calm down when necesary, all is done with good taste and with intresting ideas and they shifting from almost prog metal passages to mellow parts with an amazing ease. I must add I like the voice of Timo Enders , he has such a good and intresting tone, is fiting like a glove in overall sound. Forte pieces the title track Progressive Worlds, a 10 min pure delight, they can play at maximum precision, Cure for change or the Beast of prey, excellent pieces that show how big potential this band has in today prog scene. All in all - Progressive world needs a far more recognition in prog circles, among the better albums released this year. From me easy 4 stars, intresting art work.
