Two Headed Emperor biography
TWO HEADED EMPEROR is an Eclectic Prog band consisting of long time collaborators Peter ASHBY and Barry LAMB. This duo first recorded together in 1976 as teenagers and soon started self-releasing cassettes of their punk-influenced art rock under the name of FRENZIED MELON. This became part of the D.I.Y. cassette movement and saw the two create an independent record label "Falling A Records". After many years of helping each other with various solo projects and working with other artists, the two musicians decided to bring together their 40-plus years of experience and collaboration to create TWO HEADED EMPEROR.

The pair bring together new technology and classic prog sensibilities to create smart lyrics and music that is full of exciting ideas and musical concepts creating a unique progressive sound that is inspired by progressive giants like GENESIS, VAN DER GRAAF GENERATOR, SOFT MACHINE, CAN, KING CRIMSON, CAPTAIN BEEFHEART and many others.
