Kaothic biography
KAOTHIC is a progressive metal band from Spain, founded by Alberto MARIN in 2001. The band entered the studio in 2002 to record their first album. They originally were formed as a death metal band with David CUNADO on vocals, Alberto MARIN on guitar, Gustavo ROMERO on bass and Marcos de la CALLE on drums. During their recording sessions, the band decided they didn't want such a brutal approach to their music, so they replaced CUNADO with David CURTONATES. With this change of direction, their first album was delayed and re-recorded in 2004, and later that year they released Order to Chaos.

After receiving positive reviews from the public and critics alike, they were able to open for bands such as KILLSWITCH ENGAGE and AVULSED. In 2006, CURONATES left the band and was replaced by Cyro E. SANCHEZ. Through the years, many personnel changes were made. Their 2nd album Lights & Shadows was released in 2015. Their current line-up (as of 2020) consists of Zyrus on vocals, MARIN on guitars, Daniel CRIADO on bass and Marias de VALLEJO on drums.
