Shattered Systems biography
Beginning as an '80s metal cover band, SHATTERED SYSTEMS was founded in 2009 and was based out of Tuscon, Arizona. Founders Avelino RAMIREZ (keyboards) and Nathaniel DOMINGUEZ (guitars) soon decided that they wanted to reform the band to allow them to perform original music and they needed musicians that had the skill to do so. They also wanted to be centered in a community that had more of a demand for progressive metal, so they relocated to Los Angeles, CA and reformed the band.

The band's first official single "Introduction" was released in 2012. Their debut album "A New Chapter" was released in 2016 featuring the line-up of RAMIREZ and DOMINGUEZ along with vocalist Lucas ALMEIDA, bassist Kevin LAMBERTUCCI and drummer Mike HETZEL. The band states that their music should appeal to fans of DREAM THEATER, DIO, ANIMALS AS LEADERS, DREAM EVIL, HELLOWEEN, KAMELOT, METALLICA, PAGANS MIND, PINK FLOYD, IRON MAIDEN, MEGADETH, RUSH and SYMPHONY X.
