Trepalium biography
Founded in 2001, Tech/Extreme Progressive Metal band TREPALIUM began its life in Boismé, Nouvelle-Aquitaine, France. Over the years, the band has released several albums, including their latest EP released in 2020 "From the Ground". The band's original line-up consisted of Kéké (vocals), Nicolas Amossé (guitars), Huran Demiraslan (guitars, keyboards), Ludovic Chauveau (bass) and Sylvain Bouvier (drums) and has remained the same through the years until 2018 when Renato Di Folco became the band's new vocalist.

Never afraid to stretch boundaries, the band was considered a major part of the French extreme metal scene and was considered a part of the Konosphere, a group of French metal bands. They play a groove-heavy, slow death metal and jazz/blues fusion venturing way beyond the usual death metal formulas. Their music should appeal to fans of GOJIRA, DIABLO SWING ORCHESTRA, HACRIDE, GOROD, MESHUGGAH, XERATH, AVATAR, MR. BUNGLE, SCARRED and SCARVE.
