Andras Atlason biography
Andras Atlason (b. April 23, 1996) is a Brazilian-Faroese musician, composer, and cultural anthropologist. A pianist and former bassist and lead singer of prog rock act Da Zai, he released in 2022 his first solo record, an ambitious 12-track record combining literature, music and visual arts into an intercivilizational dialogue between Latin America and a small Nordic archipelago. The record Atlantis mixes multiple prog influences with orchestral instruments in concise song formats. Greek bouzoukis, oboes, cellos, bansuri flutes and violins are some of the instruments you'll find mixed in the melting pot.
