PROFUSIONS initially started as a solo project for guitarist Andre Prista in March of 2004. The band consisted of Miguel Xisto (vocals), Andre Prista (guitar, bass), Miguel Oliveira (keyboards) and Joao Figueiredo (drums).

Andre Prista initially recorded "The Place of My Angel" as a home recording and only made 25 copies available.

In 2006, they released a demo "Paradigma" of 450 copies.

In 2007, they released a homemade recording "Trials to Deception" of 100 copies. The single "Away with You" of 100 copies. And a promo cd "Nothing from Nothing" of 200 copies.

They disbanded late 2007, early 2008.
