Down I Go biography
DOWN I GO is a band from London, United Kingdom consisting of Pete Fraser (vocals), Ben Standage (drums), Alan Booth (guitar) and Marek Bereza (bass).

The band started as an experiment in 2005 and self released a CDR "This is Dinocore" which sold a few hundred over the internet and at live shows. Darren with Undergroove got a hold of one and told the band he'd release whatever they did next.

The band then wrote "This is Disastercore" which was released in 2006 on Undergroove Records. "This is Disastercore" is thirteen tracks documenting thirteen major disasters in world history like The Hindenburg, The Great Plague, The Challenger space shuttle, Chernobyl, and the sinking of the Titanic to name a few.

The band then recorded a very short EP "This is Robotcore" which contains four tracks of sharp bursts of robotic noise and only lasts five minutes and forty-nine seconds.

In 2008, the band released "Tyrant" which consists of twelve tracks based on twelve of the worlds known tyrants like Joseph Stalin, Nicolas Ceaucesu, King Leopald II, and Ivan the Terrible.

DOWN I GO is a brutally evolved hardcore band fusing metal and jazz. They experiment through noise and groove and should be a welcome addition to all hardcore fans. They were approved by the Prog Metal Team and come very highly recommended!
