CUBICAL SPHERE is a progressive metal band from Thessalloniki, Greece formed in 2002 by Nikos Metaxas (guitar) and Simos Pagiavlas (bass). After several rehearsals as a duo they recorded their first demo in 2004. The band finally found a drummer Giannis Chionidis and added Dimitris Leontis (guitar) and Costas Margaritis (vocals).

CUBICAL SPHERE has self released their second recording "Cubical Sphere" that can be ordered through their official myspace page.

CUBICAL SPHERE explores the stylistic elements of their influences of such bands as SHAKTI, AGHORA, MAHAVISHNU ORCHESTRA, PESTILENCE, ALLAN HOLDSWORTH, GORDIAN KNOT, ATHEIST, DEATH, and CYNIC. They were approved by the Prog Metal Team and are very highly recommended!
