Pikantik biography
Pikantik was founded in 2006 by guitarist/keyboardist/songwriter Michal 'matragon' Worgacz. The original lineup also included Rafal Guzik on keyboards, Krysiek Wojciechowski on bass, and Flip Mozul on drums. Their first formal gig was at the annual Zappanale music festival in Germany, an annual Frank Zappa tribote festival that in 2006 included notable bands like The Adrian Belew Power Trio and The Soft Machine. Since then, Pikantik has released four albums, and performed in a number of concerts, including a 2007 gig with the Welsh band Budgie.

The band's personnel has changed frequently since their original lineup, with only Worgacz remaining throughout. However, in 2010, Wojciechowski and Mozul returned to the band, and Pikantik is presently performing as a trio.
