Members of God biography
MEMBERS OF GOD are a progressive Christian metal band, from Salerno, Italy. The band started as an idea of singer Enzo DONNARUMMA in April 2009, to create a project that blends prog-symphonic metal with orchestral and Jewish folk music, while lyrically focusing on Christian theology and ideology. This idea was put in practice through DONNARUMMA's passionate theological study, which the singer shared with the PINTO brothers to create MEMBERS OF GOD.

With this concept, the band has released its first album "Ten Talking Words" in 2010, in which they hope to "eviscerate, with a strong and emotional impact, the true message of the crucified Messiah". They also aim to create a unique live-show style that will blend the above concept with the energy of metal. As of 2011, the band consists of Jesus of Nazareth (Singer and Acoustic Guitars), Uriel from Fire (Lead Guitars and Voices), Jahn from Wind (Bass and Voices), Rob from Water (Keyboards and Synths) and Jericho from Earth (Drums and Percussions).

The band quotes the following bands as their influences: DREAM THEATER, SHADOW GALLERY, PAIN OF SALVATION, FATES WARNING, NIGHTWISH, EPICA, CHILDREN OF BODOM, OPETH, SLIPKNOT, TRANSATLANTIC, PINK FLOYD, GENESIS, KAIPA, IVANHOE, SEPULTURA, TESTAMENT and ALICE COOPER.
