Immanent biography
IMMANENT are a female-fronted progressive metal band, formed in Paris, France in 2009. The band consists of Anastasiya MALAKHOVA (Vocals, Piano), Nicolas GENESTE (Guitars), Gwénaël ESTEVE (Bass Guitar), and Anthony BESNARD (Drums). Since their early days they have been playing live in Paris' indie venues such as the Scène Bastille, the Batofar and the Alhambra and have acted as a support act for bands as BENIGHTED SOUL and POLARIS. Before releasing their debut, they contributed in the ''World of Glass'' compilation with their first single, 'Seclusion'. Their first album, ''In Acedia'', was recorded in London's Fortress Studios and released in November 2012.

IMMANENT mixes influences ranging from jazz and classical music to symphonic and death metal, creating a non-typical progressive metal sound, similar to that of TO-MERA.
