The Timeout Drawer biography
US band THE TIMEOUT DRAWER was formed in 1999, following the demise of the members previous band Facefail. The original line-up consisted of Ray Dybzinski (guitars, electronics), Chris Eichenseer (drums), Jason Goldberg (keyboards, vocals) and Jason Terchin (keyboards). They released their debut album "Record of Small Histories" the same year, followed by "A Difficult Future" in 2001.
Some time after the release of the latter Dybzinksi and Terchin left the band, but with Jon Slusher (guitars, bass, keyboards) and Chris Van Pelt (guitars, piano) replacing them the EP "Presents Left for the Living Dead" is recorded and released in 2003. Van Pelt left the band shortly after the recording sessions however, temporarily replaced by Jef Green (guitars). This revised line-up recorded and released the full length production "Nowonmai" in 2005 and the EP "Alone" in 2006. While recording the album and EP Andy Bosniak (guitars) joined as a full time member. The band was actively touring until the summer of 2007, and sometime after that the band disbanded. The core members resurfaced in metal band Beak the following year.

The Timeout Drawer's brand of post rock earned them comparisons to the likes of Mogwai and GYBE!
