Myrmidion Creed biography
MYRMIDION CREED are a German progressive metal band, formed in 1986 in Biberach, Baden-Württemberg. Despite the long existence of the band, they have only released a few demos and one full-length album in 1994 via Gorgon records, entitled ''Through Painful Eyes''. The current (2014) line-up consists of Walter SCHLAY (Bass), Gerd MÜLLER (Drums), Michael SCHÄFER (Guitars), Jan TOPORSKI (Guitars), Volker RIEDEL (Vocals) while previous members include T. SCHUHMACHER and Ingo THEOBOLDT (Bass), Hubert MODER and Alexander TRAUB (Drums).

Main influences come from QUEENSRYCHE, in a style that mixes the high-pitched vocal american power-prog metal of the 80's with the lyricism of the European acts of the early 90's, which at times resembles to the sound made by compatriots SOUL CAGES.
