Pig'n'Aif biography
PIG'N'AIF is a crossover prog band from Sheffield, UK formed in 1969 by Pete BANGERT (GOLGOTHA, PHOENIX RISING, TOSHROLLO) as the primary output for his own creative efforts. According to BANGERT's website:

"The name originally born out of his frustration, reflects the fact that it has often been a pig (and an 'aif) to bring these projects to fruition or indeed to get the musos together to play the material."

Over the next four and a half decades the band was active in BANGERT's heart even though he was often involved in other musical projects. As the time passed, a collection of musicians and friends contributed to the project, including 'lifelong mate' Steve ATKINSON, Dave HOBSON, Pete's son, Krys BANGERT, Gordon HENDERSON, Jack BUNKER, Mick SHEDD and many others. The project has wandered between psychedelic jamming through all out prog. Fans of CRACK THE SKY may enjoy the music of PIG'N'AIF
