Seventh Station biography
The idea of Seventh Station sprouted inside Dmitri ALPEROVICH's head back in 2008. The vision and the will to make the band alive became that strong that eventually led to the the current lineup and release of the debut album "Between Life and Dreams". The album has seen the light in September, 2016.

The lineup is a result of Dmitri's strong focus in search for suitable band members. He came across keyboardist Eren BASBUG - who is known for his work with DREAM THEATER, JORDAN RUDESS etc. Later on vocalist Davidavi DOLEV (OMB, REIGN OF THE ARCHITECT, GUNNED DOWN MORSES, etc.) joined and after the release of the debut album drummer Panos GEO and bassist Laurant DA PRA filled the missing gaps. . The band debut album "Between Life and Dreams" was recorded in Israel and United States. The music is Progressive Metal with some classical influences, long instrumental passages and great musicianship in the style of DREAM THEATER.

3 stars 3.5 stars for sure Strong progressive metal from Slovenia, as I like it, technical yet melodic, nice dueligs between guitar and keyboards, all is well performed and above all a very good singer named Davidavi Dolev known also from prog metal band Reign of the Architect, is an aquaring taste but after few spins the voice become a perfect unit with the music. Quite similar with Linear Sphere, that is a good thing, because this type of prog metal has nothing to do with Dream Theater, at least from my view. Very nice one, unfairly unknown and low rated album, really, long pieces with elaborated arrangements as I like it gives from this album named Between Life and Dreams issued in 2016 a very pleasent listen from start to finish. Just to be checked out the excellent 10 plus min Another Dimension of the Sun - strong piece or the superb Morning's Silence, really good from all aspects. So from me easy 3.5 stars, for prog metal fans as I am this is a real treat. Nice artwork..
Thanks to rdtprog for the artist addition.
