Renaldo & The Loaf for Avant

Brian Poole and David Janssen created Renaldo & The Loaf in 1979, using The monikers Renaldo Malpractice and Ted The Loaf. They were 'discovered' by The Residents after they released Renaldo & The Loaf Play Struve and Sneff. Their music i9s very wacky and fun, yet it comes across in sinister way, similar to much of The Residents music. They have also collaberated with The Residents, resulting in the album, Title In Limbo.

In my humble opinion, they've played avantgarde music but not certain rock.
