"A great band who seem to mix Yes and Krautrock-like Prog elements through a Stereolab filter" - Trebushet Magazine http://www.trebuchet-magazine.com/silver-apples-eat-lights-become-lights-luminaire-2010/ "With krautrock and avant garde psychedelia having become fashionable all of a sudden, it's left to one of the new breed's elder statesmen to deliver an album which captures the genre's basic origins. While not exactly veterans either - Eat Lights Become Lights only put their first record out five years ago - they firmly established themselfs over that period to become arguably the UK's leading exponents of experimental, motorik-themed psych rock. The band is the brainchild of songwriter - cum - producer and arranger Neil Rudd, who created the project partly in homage to experimental artists such as Spiritualized, Can and Kraftwerk, while ultimately developing a progressive sound of his own making in process. An interesting suggestion, thank you. Looks to be a medley of influences. Very distinctice krautrockin' motorik direction, similar to Neu ! , La Düsseldorf, Michael Rother. I'll process to the addition very soon.

I am really digging this outfit at the moment. So rare you come across modern Krautrock bands that both pay homage to what went before, but also develops on it and find altogether new ways of expressing themselves. Definitely an act I'll be following. Saweeeeeeeet!!
