The only one I've heard is Khan. Hillage's best work and Stewart on keys is always amazing.

If you haven't heard of Illusion before, you may be interested to know they're closely-related to the original Renaissance line-up, featuring Jane Relf (mostly) on lead vocals. This is one of my favourite songs from their second album "Illusion", released in 1978.....

I was in a band that supported Magna Carta once in 1976, Albert Hall, Nottingham.  Just saying.

Illusion.
Both Out of the Mist and Illusion are beautiful albums. I haven't heard the later ones. You could also include the first two Renaissance albums in their discography since they recorded almost all of them.
But with a stellar line up including 2 ex-Yardbirds and future Strawbs member John Hawken, this band could hardly fail to be brilliant.

Again, I love Space Shanty the best but want others to have a chance so voted for Fly Away (again).

It's a pity I missed them, seeing as I'm from Nottingham too, although I only would have been 16 or 17 at the time and sitting my exams at school. Smile

It's good to see Khan's Space Shanty is storming ahead in this poll, now it's no longer competing against Arzachel's album. Smile

I know what you mean. Even with just eight albums per poll now instead of sixteen, it's still hard to pick a favourite. Smile

It's made a big difference to the Khan vote, now they're not up against Arzachel and England. Smile

I guess Khan, but I don't love it.

Dave Stewart also made an amazing comeback in the 1980's when he teamed up with beautiful Barbara Gaskin (of Spirogyra) for this song......
