A grossly underrated Kansas album, in my opinion. This may have been the first one that I ever got as a youngster and was really blown away by it. Overall, it's probably not as progressive as Leftoverture or Masque, but definitely in the upper tier.

Tough call, though. I just love "Reason To Be". Walsh's vocals are sublime, beautiful, heartfelt. The lyrics are equally exquisite. That said, I have to go with "On The Other Side". Could be one of my favorite songs by Kansas. A close race between the two, but I have to go with the latter.

I voted "Angels have fallen", "Glimpse of home" is also great. The lyrics on "Reason to be" are excellent!

Glimpse edges out Soul Cries Out barely.  Glimpse starts out with that cheesy keyboard and you think it is gonna be a crappy song, but then it changes and turns out awesome.

I don't expect a lot of votes for "People Of The Southwind", but I think it's still pretty proggy for a shorter song used as a single.

"How My Soul Cries Out For You" is another favorite of mine. Would've loved to have seen them on this particular tour. There has to be some live recordings in their vaults that they can use. I actually remember listening to a show from the Audio Visions tour on King Biscuit Flower Hour that was pretty cool.

For me "Angels have fallen" ! the proggiest song on the album and the amazing lyrics :

The angels have fallen,
they've all gone away
It's you that must find them
By living each day.
