   This is just a poll featuring some tracks from albums I really enjoy. My goal with doing polls like these (recently did a couple with RPI bands), is to create some attention to bands/artists that generally are quite obscure and under the radar. This is 5 tracks done by Germans, Norwegians, Danes, Finns and Italians. You´ve got two krautish tracks in Walk the Nile and Warm Canto. Chill out beautiful music in French Picadores and Sekoilu Seestyy, as well as a rocking piece in Mind Movie. What is your pickadilly?

	^I agree. I don´t know which is my fave. I guess it´s between this, Visitation and Jokamies. The latter proving that prog indeed was alive and kicking in the 80s, you just had to look a little harder for it, and beyond the symphonic brand as well as the usual suspects, - and perhaps try something from outside the borders of the UK and the States.

	I only heard Walk The Nile from those listed, but I wouldn't call it under the radar. Of course it's not very relevant in the grand scheme of j-r/f things, but most people interested in new fusion gave it a listen last year. I'm a good example.

	I have all five albums. Just listened to Etna the other day. I'd forgot how good of a fusion album it is. Elephant9 is almost unbearable to my ears. Can't cast a vote as it's been awhile since I've heard the other three.

	I can't wait to sit and listen to these tracks so i can vote.I just need some time. Anyway i have all five albums and rate them all highly.I'd probably pick ELEPHANT9 just Over Pekka's as my favourite album. As far as the songs go i'll let you know.Another great poll Mr.Guldbamsen !

	Cannon: It´s funny you should mention that, I´d totally neglected that Etna album and stumbled upon it the other day by chance. A wonderful record, and I really like the "melodic" way the Italians play fusion. You should try Arti e Mestieri, which sounds like a jazzy PFM, and furthermore s´got one heck of a drummer! Mellotron Storm or John(?): Walk the Nile is by far my favorite track off that album. Love the krautfeel of it, very improvised slow and psychedelic(all things in music I really enjoy). It genuinely sounds like a magic carpet ride overlooking the Nile. And thanks for the clappie - here have a saxomophone guy

	Very close between ELEPHANT9 and SECRET OYSTER but i have to give the latter the vote just because they don't deserve to be sitting at zero votes. Amazing track and my favourite from that album.The piano and guitar are incredible.What i love about ELEPHANT9's track is that it never breakes out but has this restrained heaviness about it. Pekka would be a close third followed by EMBRYO's tune then ETNA's.

	I finally went for Embryo. I ate bratwurst with potato salad for dinner tonight, and felt in quite the Kraut mood. It was very close though, and I could just as easily have gone for Elephant9. And Mellotron, you´re right about that restrained heaviness of that track - it really ads something magical to it.
