It may very well be, because they were both written by bassist and vocalist Richard Sinclair...

At first I really thought they did, but after many more listens not so much. ITLOGAP is one of the most amazing shorter songs I've ever heard, though (same with Winter Wine).

Yes. To me at least. Basically the same setup structurally, and both have nearly the same feel.

The songs themselves don't sound TOO much alike, but the feel of the two songs are very similar. There's an emphasis on beat two and beat four in both of the tunes, which is represented heavily in Sinclair's bass lines, which is why they probably sound so similar to you.

Very similar, I noticed that recently when I programmed the CD player to play them back-to-back. I made a mental note to be sure and have some other songs in between the two next time.

One hyperpoppybouncy (makes the toes tap and body move) and one more subdued (makes the eyes close and head bob).

I can see the similarities between the two songs, however, I like the title track a more than "Golf Girl."

Yes, the rythm and bassline is very similar and they both smell of British whimsy.

Hear, hear! But then, you chose my own name as your nick, so you can't be anything but extremely intelligent and gifted with excellent taste...
