This is being opened as a spin-off of the 5 Catostrophic Songs thread (which actually has nothing to do with songs about catastrophes). There have been some good posts in the other thread regarding songs about catastrophes and or of an apocalyptic nature. What are some of your favorites?

Genesis' Domino is probably my favorite of all of them, although I suppose Supper's Ready could actually be classed in that as well, in which case that one would win.

I and several others have mentioned quite a few good ones in the other thread already. Not sure if those posts can be moved here or if I'm being just a huge pain in the behind.
I can understand your anger at me, but what did the horse I rode in on ever do to you?

I've really been getting into VDGG After the Flood lately. Currently my top choice.

Supper's Ready, really good too.

I've always been a fan of Epitaph by KC.
Also like Sacred Sound and Harvest of Souls by IQ....they seem 'apocalyptic' to me.

Wouldn't your least favorite catastrophe/apocalyptic song be one that came true?

that Al Stewart song deserves a bit of love as well along with Nostradamus which fits this thread perfectly

ELP wise I would also mention Abaddons Bolero just for the final section.

Todd Rundgren -- Fade Away

That fits the bill more than most of the suggestions here.

I hear Radiohead's Kid A as a post-apocalyptic album, after the machines have won and we've all given ourselves up to a vegetative state of virtual reality...
