   Jeeez, sweet old men are dropping like flies this week   

I am not a "soap watcher" (at all!....dreadful thought!) but Amos Brierly from Emmerdale is someone I am sure a lot of the Grey roomers will know. 

Still, 87, a good inings, and to be honest I thought he had croaked years ago.......

	Ah the great mutton chopped landlord himself - with his trademark exclamation: "MR WILKS!" I too thought he'd shuffled off many moons ago - rest easy, Amos - have a pint of Ephraim Monk on me.
