Same as it's ever been since 1973
Yes
Pink Floyd
Genesis
In the early 2000s I probably preferred VDGG to Pink Floyd but otherwise the big three have always been my favourite three.

No, no, no... mom, dad-- don't make me choose!
Number one is definitely Genesis. After that, I can't decide. Maybe Jethro Tull. Maybe ELP. Maybe Yes.

Over the last couple of months or so:
1. Mastodon. Crack The Skye hasn't left my 5-disc cd player ever since I bought the album. Serious contender for album of the decade.
2. Steven Wilson. Insurgentes just keeps growing and growing on me.
3. Hmmm... Robert Wyatt maybe.

With magic, you can turn a frog into a prince.
With science, you can turn a frog into a Ph.D. and you still have the frog you started with.

Yeah, very similar....if I had to list a solid top three (not just lately), it would be Henry Cow, Magma, and National Health.

I've been listening to a bit more straight up prog metal lately, so Symphony X and Pain of Salvation ( I think I'm going to HAVE to get more POS stuff).
I also recently acquired 2 Tangerine Dream albums, Rubycon and Phaedra.
So:
1. Pain of Salvation
2. Tangerine Dream
3. Symphony X

These past few days I've been listening to masses of
1. Pekka Pohjola 2. The Beatles (well, not so prog but proto, and mostly I've been listening to the early pop output, but now I'm moving to the later times)
and to a much lesser extent
3. King Crimson
